Hiring your first employee in the Netherlands?

As a non-Dutch employer who wants to hire an employee in the Netherlands, you quickly run into several payroll related issues. Do I have to register my company in the Netherlands? Am I obliged to set up a payroll in the Netherlands? Which additional costs do I have to take into account?

Registration in the Netherlands

As soon as you hire an employee in the Netherlands who will also work in the Netherlands, it will be necessary, in most cases, to set up a Dutch payroll administration. Our team can assist you with the registration at the local Dutch tax authorities and set up the payroll administration. Together with you we will work on a payroll process that works for you so that your employees will receive his salary in time and you will make the necessary payments towards the Dutch tax authorities in time.

Taking over your current payroll administration

International payroll

Our payroll team works closely with our Global Mobility team to make sure that the salary slip of your employee is correctly processed. Do you have an employee who is taxable in multiple countries or who has been assigned to the Netherlands and keeps his home countries social security, we will make sure that both the Dutch as the foreign payroll are in line with each other and comply with Dutch tax and social security law.
