Wesselman, with 140 generalists and specialists and offices in Eindhoven and Helmond, is a well-known player in the business advisory market for SMEs and family businesses. Since its founding in 1980, the full-service firm has built lasting client relationships, mainly with larger (national and international) family businesses.

Ruud van Poppel lives in Eindhoven with his partner and three children. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Tax Law at Maastricht University, he successfully completed a master’s degree in European and International Tax Law at the same institution.

With over 15 years of experience as an (international) tax advisor, including ten years at Wesselman, Ruud has established a solid reputation. He has made significant contributions to Wesselman’s international advisory practice and has helped expand the firm’s M&A services. This has resulted in a valuable network of clients and advisors. Ruud has assisted numerous national and international entrepreneurs in acquiring Dutch SME companies.

Ruud is excited to combine his expertise in tax advisory with entrepreneurship. He aims to further develop Wesselman’s (international) advisory and M&A practices. In the Eindhoven region, Ruud sees plenty of opportunities to achieve this. He anticipates an increasing demand for the advisory and related services that Wesselman offers in the coming years and is determined to meet this growing need.
